The Honorable President of the United States
The White House
Washington, D.C.
Dear Mr. President Barrack Obama:
I have many questions and few answers. I wonder why all the politicians of this great nation are so concerned about the medical rights of migrant children and those who do not work and have never contributed to the treasury.
How is it possible that after spending all of their efforts, no one asks why the elderly that have helped financially support this great nation do not have the same medical rights as those who have not contributed?
We are not asking to take anything away from anyone, but to give equally to those who have contributed. It is not fair that after we have sacrificed so much for this country we are so afraid to retire, because we will hardly be able to afford to pay for insurance that does not cover all of our medical needs.
This is unjust and a crime. When we get older after so many sacrifices we deserve a little peace, tranquility and security in our old age.
The government is required to pay all our merits and rights. We are not asking for anything more than what we have already paid and that others are receiving for free; Medicare and Medicaid.
Mr. President, I am not criticizing you individually but, all of the previous administrations have done nothing to deal with this issue of the elderly. Please do it yourself.
Respectfully,
Carlos M. Calvo
